Universal Solutions (of South Florida) used misleading sales tactics to sucker us into buying $793 worth of cleaning materials we did not need or want.They spoke to one of our maintenance workers, who is not authorized to purchase for the company, and convinced him to try a free sample of their product.

He didn't even open the product, let alone try it. When we called to return the item, we were informed that they did not except returns after 30 days. Coincidentally, we did not receive the invoice until after that 30 day window. If we were talking about $40-50, then no big deal.

However, if he knew they were sending almost $800 in cleaning supplies, I can 100% guarantee he would have hung up on them. I was given the run-around by their customer service. They told me they can't accept returns after 30 days because the products may have been tampered with. I assured her they were all in their original packaging, but she insisted it was company policy.

Judging by the C+ rating with the BBB and the other 17 claims in the past 12 months, I am obviously not the first person to have this experience with them.They offered me a 50% credit which I am hesitant to accept because I feel a full refund is in order.

Monetary Loss: $793.
